Case Scenario 2: A case of Dual Chamber Pacemaker

Mr. T. Mia, 55 years gentleman, Hypertensive- on irregular Amlodipine (No H/O any rate limiting drugs), got admitted in a private clinic at Bogura with the complaints of recurrent syncope. There he was diagnosed as a case of CHB (degenerative), treated medically & advised for pacemaker implantation & refereed to NICVD. On the way to Dhaka patient deteriorated and came to our A&E, at that time his heart rate was 27 bpm. We immediately take the patient to the cath lab & in cath lab patient developed Cardiac Arrest. We started PCR & immediately TPM was implanted. A Permanent Pacemaker was implanted on next day, and by the grace of Almighty a life is saved.
