Dr. Razeeb Hassan is a hepatobiliary and pancreas surgeon and is trained fellow of the liver transplant program of Dr Rela Hospital, Chennai, India. He particularly focuses on complex surgical procedures of the liver, bile duct and the pancreas as well as the multidisciplinary treatment of pathologies affecting these organs. His transplant, colorectal, and vascular surgery trainings are unique in his practice. His continued dedication to research enables him to deliver scientific and empathetic patient care.

Dr. Razeeb Hassan completed his medical school and surgical training in general surgery at Dhaka Medical College, Dhaka University. His training continued with a fellowship in General Surgery from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons, Membership of Royal College of Surgeons, England, Gyan Burman Fellowship in Surgical GI, HPB Surgery and Liver transplantation from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi and Fellowship in HPB and Liver transplantation from Dr Rela Hospital, Chennai. He obtained Microvascular surgery training from Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, India and Organ retrieval training from Liver Transplant Society India. He also earned intensive training on diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and ERCP from World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurgaon, India and 1zt affiliated Hospital, Zhengzou, China and BSMMU, Bangladesh. He was an Assistant Professor of Surgery at MARKS Medical College, Dhaka. He has been recognized for his excellence in clinical surgery and teaching. He has a special interest in research and education.
